Legrand CRM offers a number of ways to remotely access data to suit road warriors, remote offices or even those needing web only access.
Legrand CRM Built in Syncronisation
Every copy of Legrand CRM has remote database syncronisation as standard. There is no need to purchase any addition software.
This built-in syncronisation allows a user to synchronize a copy of the Legrand CRM database with a “master” database. Examples of this would include a salesperson on the road running Legrand CRM on their notebook. They can make changes to their customer records and synchronize their changes with the main database when they return to the office and connect to the network or remotely via VPN.
Legrand CRM via Terminal Services.
A large number of Legrand users access their systems using Microsoft Terminal Services. Legrand CRM works well in this environment. The advantage is that the data is always “current”.
Legrand CRM on Handhelds.
There are several ways to access Legrand CRM using handheld or Pocket PCs. The Australian company SyncIT produces an add-on product called PocketSync that copies data directly from the Legrand CRM system to devices using Pocket Outlook 2003 or Windows Mobile 5.
