Legrand Software gives you a choice of licensing models: Subscription licensing or Classic licensing.
Subscription licensing enables you to purchase a 1-year license to use Legrand CRM on a nominated computer.
After one year you can elect to renew the license for another year and continue to use Legrand CRM or you may
elect not to renew the subscription license in which case the software will stop functioning.
The subscription is an annual commitment but it can be paid either quarterly or annually in advance.
A Subscription license includes all new software updates and upgrades released during the life of the subscription license.
Subscription licensing provides the lowest upfront cost to acquire Legrand CRM software licenses. It is most
attractive to organizations that value cash flow and organizations that are not sure whether they will use
Legrand CRM for more than 3 years.
For example, the cost to acquire ten subscription licenses of Legrand CRM CORP Edition
(without any optional modules) is $360 per license when paid annually, or $100 per license when paid quarterly.
Subscription prices range from $25 to $50 per license per month (paid annually) depending on the number of licenses and the number of options.
Classic licensing enables you to purchase a permanent license of Legrand CRM Software at the then current version number. This permanent license entitles you to forever use on a nominated computer the specific version of Legrand CRM software you have purchased. When you purchase a Classic license you are purchasing a particular version of Legrand
CRM software, including all the features and bugs of that version. (Yes, despite everyone's best efforts, software applications always have some bugs!)
A Classic license includes software updates for the first 12 months, but not beyond. The optional Software
Maintenance is an annual fee that keeps your classic license up to date by providing access to software updates for a 12-month period. The annual software maintenance fee is 18% of the then current list price of a Classic license.
Classic licensing is more attractive to people who take a longer term view. It is more expensive to acquire
upfront but the software has no expriy date. If you are certain you will be using Legrand CRM for many years
then this is the best value in the long term.
The cost to acquire a Classic license is 2.75 times the cost a subscription license.
For instance, when the cost of a CORP subscription license is $360 then the cost of the Classic license
is 2.75 x $360 = $990.
Pricing
Unit prices are volume-based, the more licenses you purchase the higher the discount. Installation,
configuration, training and custom report writing are separate to the licensing costs. The cost of these
services will vary depending on the number of users and complexity of your requirements.
