Legrand CRM offers a number of ways to share data in Microsoft Outlook throughout your organization. E-mails to and from customers can easily become part of a customers history and available by others.
Legrand CRM Microsoft Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 Add-In
Standard with Legrand CRM is an easy to install Outlook Add-in that allows you to take e-mail, calendar events and tasks directly from Outlook and copy it into Legrand CRM.
E-mail messages can also be used to create either a new sales opportunity or a customer service job. It’s also possible to bulk import a range of e-mail from MS Outlook, as well as items from the Sent or any other folder.
The Legrand CRM Outlook Add-In requires MS Outlook 2003 or 2007 and works with both standalone Outlook systems or in MS Exchange based environments.
Once imported, the e-mail along with any attachments, is available for other Legrand CRM users. It simply becomes part of the contact's history in the same way as phone calls, meetings or other activities. All this contributes to a total pictures of your dealings with customers.
MS Outlook and Legrand Synchronization
Legrand CRM allows quick synchronization of MS Outlook Contacts, Events and Tasks.
Information can be transferred to and from Outlook directly from Legrand CRM.
Transfer to and from Outlook and handheld devices
Calendar events and tasks can easily be transferred to and from Microsoft Outlook. Using the Australian developed SyncIT, it's also possible to directly transfer information from Legrand to PocketPC devices
What about automatic importing of e-mail into the CRM?
With the amount of junk e-mail that’s floating around, we decided against the automatic importing of e-mail into the CRM system. Instead we let you select which emails you consider significant enough that they should be transferred to the CRM database for permanent storage.
With the bulk import feature of the Legrand's Outlook Add-In it is very easy to import large amounts of e-mail,
but with the added advantage of being able to decide which e-mail is brought across.
